A LITTLE PIECE OF ME...
I have been interested in photography since I was a kid, I used to love to take pictures to see what I would get once they were developed. My uncle is a photographer and he used to develop his own pictures in his dark room and I used to be fascinated by the whole process. It's amazing how far we have come and how convenient digital photography is.
I love photography because I realize that a picture is worth a thousand words. I love thinking about the moments and memories that each picture holds and my passion became relevant after my daughter was born and I had just moved into a new house, all of my pictures of my daughter were in the basement and we had a flood, 95% of those pictures were ruined, I was devastated. I then knew how much I loved photography and how precious each and every picture is.
I love taking natural, candid photos of children, pets and people just being themselves. I love to catch the expressions and reactions of the subjects. I am extremely passionate about landscape photos, when I am driving in my car and decide to "take the scenic" route and I come across something beautiful, I love to capture the moment.
I feel my photos stand out from the rest because very little is done to enhance them. I love to use natural light and to shoot on location. There is no limit to what you can see through a lens. I get so much joy out of photography and I feel it shows in my work.
My daughter Ryanne is my constant inspiration and what drives me forward and I hope that she sees that it’s never too late to follow your dreams. I'm also inspired by the positive people I have in my life who have encouraged me to live my life to its fullest potential and have helped me follow my dreams.
My goals are to help capture memories and moments for others. I am pursuing a career in photography and would love the opportunity to shoot for any special occasion or event. I hope to eventually be in a gallery/studio with my photography plastered all over the walls, this would be my dream.
I will always be trying new things and looking to capture the "perfect shot".
